risk comes with some valuation of the conseqeunces. In the blog, I think it was in the context of high level stake for the game, and time control management.
It is clear to me that in the context of play for study, lower unitary game stake, one would revise the subjective tipping point for one move or the other. And same to time control pressure.
risk is not a 0 or 1 thing, and neither is risk assessement, the decision is based on that possibly fine grain ordering of risk w.r.t. the context targets one would agree on.
