4. Registration Period: July 4th ~ July 30th, 5 PM

5. Registration Method:

• Registration Fee: 100 NT
• Individual Registration: After wire transfer, fill in the form below (include the last 5 digits of your account number)

6. Competition Format:

• The competition is divided into 6 sections based on Blitz rating

6. Under 1200:

Determine your section by finding your highest blitz rating and subtracting 100 points.
Note: do not count a highest rating that falls within the provisional rating period.
New Lichess accounts (less than 100 rated blitz games) may be asked for further verification or assisted with placement into a section.

• All sections will be mixed into one playing group, and prizes will be awarded according to registered groups.

• 9 Rounds, Swiss Pairing System

• All games begin with 5 minutes + 3 seconds after every move

• 3 minutes between games

7. Awards
   Cash prizes will be given to the top three places of each section*:

1st Place - 50% of prize pool
2nd Place - 30% of prize pool
3rd Place - 20% of prize pool
Prizes will be distributed to three participants who finish the tournament on lucky rankings (i.e, 20th, 40th, 60th)

*If the number of participants in a section is less than 10 players, prize distribution will follow the Prize Distribution chart (see picture in registration form):

8. Matters needing attention:

• All players are required to join the Taiwan Chess Online Discord to broadcast their playing area.

• Camera frame should give full view of the screen and the player's body.

• All Players are required to follow the Lichess Fair Play and Community Guidelines: https://lichess.org/terms-of-service
  Any players suspected of disturbing the fair playing environment may be asked to demonstrate their playing ability to the fair play committee.
  Those found breaking these rules may result in disqualification, a forfeit of prizes, and/or prohibited from participating in future Taiwan Chess Online competitions.
