Cheat Detected

What does result in cheat detected? I just had a 9 move game where it said, "cheat detected".
Cheating results in cheat detection.

There are many ways to cheat, and many detection methods. Just play fair, don't use any kind of chess engine assistance, and you'll be fine.
well, there seems to be some kind of flaw or something, because a 9 move game with 2 legit people shouldn't be considered cheating even if it's 0-0-0 at the opening stage :P Is it possible that these are just two advanced players. In my opinion, your cheat detector seems to have jumped the gun here, it isn't uncommon for high rated players to get a perfect game in the opening stages, if this was to persist throughout the whole game, then , yes that would be cheating.
@Watashiwangorigato so its not cheating if you only cheat during the opening? first 15 moves should be allowed to be played by engine? "cheat detected" means "cheat detected", not "i dont like him he is too perfect"
Yep, exactly what @alex_beneath said.

It's not based on the moves. It's based on the fact that a player cheated. In this case, lichess was 100% certain of it.

I won't disclose how exactly, because it would help cheaters to work around it.

But it's safe to play excellent moves, in the opening, and all game long. As long as they don't come from an engine.
I assume he had another window open or something with a program going. The site probably detects that akin to the other chess sites.
