Castling in chess960 (blind mode)

Hi all,

I'm currently playing a chess960 game in which I want to castle kingside with my king on f1 and rook on h1. However, I don't know how to do this. I'm using blind mode for accessibility; it gives me a text field in which I have to type the square from which I want to move the piece and the destination square. In normal chess I would type 'e1g1' to castle, but my king isn't on e1 now. Does anyone know how I can castle using blind mode? I tried 'h1f1' and 'e1g1' but neither worked.

Thanks in advance!
If your king is on f1 and rook on h1, try 'f1h1'. I haven't tested it but it sounds logical because that's also what you have to do when actually performing the moves.
Thanks, it worked! Topic can be closed.
how does one get to that mode of type moves in?
if you don't mind me asking before the topic is closed
:-)
There's a button called 'Accessibility: Enable blind mode'. I'm using a screenreader, an application that speaks out the text on the screen and shows it in braille on a special braille device. My screenreader does not display the page in the way that you see it, so I'm not sure where it is on your screen, but I think it's at the top of the page. By the way, thumbs up to Lichess because as far as I know it's the only website on which a blind person can play chess.
