Obviously you don't drink booze because you have no idea how terribly how a player will play when they are drunk compared to when they are sober.

Also when a player is out of practice their classical rating will be much higher than their blitz rating. I just started playing chess again OTB and my play in fast time controls is horrible. I used to play much better vs players at my level at blitz but now I suck at blitz lol.

Also BTW to Lichess since when is 8+4 a classical time control WTF lol
