Chromebook or netbook for playing chess

I am looking to purchase a portable laptop such as
a Chromebook or Cloudbook however I am not sure if
there is enough processing speed / power to play online
chess. Does anyone have any experience with these lighter
cheaper units or the budget laptops playing on Lichess?
I use my school's Chromebook to play chess at school. It can handle lichess and basic interfaces similar to it.
There shouldn't be any issues with chromebook devices.
If you are just worried about online chess, yes there's plenty of CPU power for that.
With "heavy lifting" chess stuff, like big database handling, extensive local engine analysis and such, they may struggle a little, but for the most part you are just fine.
