How to improve your game

Okay, right here goes.
I'm what we would refer to as a complete and utter loser. Before I found lichess I had NEVER even played a game of chess. Now, a few thousand games later. I still suck. Badly.
I have read GOD knows how many guides, strat books. Pretty much anything to try and help me.
Still sucking.
And before you even suggest more practise, just look at my stats.
I'm trying so freakin hard.
Suggestions?

First that you need to know - it is pieces price.
Knight or Bishop cost 3 pawns.
Rook cost 5 pawns.
Queen cost 9 pawns.

For example, here:
ru.lichess.org/k0ecoAZ0/black#15
on 9 turn you capture pawn and lose your knight for it.
Knight cost much more than pawn, so it is wrong.

You dont need to read too many manuals on your level , just capture opponent pieces and protect you own.
Thank you!
I will post my next game, hope you can see where I am going wrong, more than I can!
Looking at a few of your games and some of your stats I would say that your biggest problem is that you don't see when you can win material and when you lose material. You basically need to get better at seeing where the pieces are and where they can move to.
I recommend playing 'classic' time control standard games more often and doing a few tactical puzzles a day to improve in that regard.
I don't think strategy books or most guides will do you much good. In that regard, all you seem to need for now is quick guide on how to develop your pieces and how much the different pieces are worth. Hopefully someone will link a good guide here.
Doing tactic is a great advice.
But i recomend to start from the simplest, and master capturing and defence at first.
For example, you can try my training on http://antiblunderchess.com

After you learn it a bit, try solving problems on lichess or chesstempo.com
You don't need books; you need skills. And the most important one for you at the moment is being able to keep your pieces. Forget about strategy and tactics. They're useless in your case. Play some games trying not to lose your pieces. Focus on this goal for some games. After that you can practice something else. And please, stop making random pawn moves in the opening. Develop your pieces first no matter what!

If is this is true it might be a part of your problem.

Well spotted, karlgoethebier! Chess is too hard and it takes years to become a decent player.

There is nothing wrong with books about chess, except that it's mostly really hard to read them...
