I lost on time when I was winning... :(

Hey guys, I lost time when I was winning. I really wanted to increase my rating since this was a higher rated player than me. Once I lost, he just said "Thank You, Bye" like he was making fun of me. I got kinda mad but didn't let my reactions burst out. I wrote this topic to kinda protest about this game. Remember, I don't want to fight. I just want to state and clarify my point of view. (Btw, I play the black pieces)

In my opinion, this game was a clear victory for me. (The game link is at the bottom!). I think this game should've been a draw since I was literally up 2 rooks! And he...he had nothing but a king and 2 frozen pawns and 1 passed pawn. I could've eaten the passed pawn easily and had a pawn that wasn't frozen. You see where I am right now in this situation, right? I know I can't change the results now since it's in the past, but I don't want others to suffer like how I did. I don't want to fight anyone or any false accusations, but I personally think this game should've been a draw.

Reply on what you think. What should I do?

I feel you, but you lost fair and square. You were up material, he was up time on the clock, a fair trade-off. However, if you think this is silliness, you can be like Drongo and play with increment.
The whole point of this is that it should be a draw, @ShiningDrongo , chess rules say that if you lose on time and you are winning, then it's a draw. I don't want to argue, I'm just saying.

And when do the chess rules say that?

thats not the rule, the rule is: "if you lose on time but your opponent doesnt have enough peices to checkmate you its a draw,"
he had 3 pawns so technacly he could have checkmated you
Sorry, tired and sleepy, so take the sarcasm tone with a pinch of salt:

An age old cry of the "lost-on-time" crowd: " I was winning! NOT FAIR". Time is a resource, like pieces on the board. You invest time to get a better position, they spend less time and thus a weaker physical position. If you aren't capable of converting with the time you've burned - you've lost. Just like if you lose your queen, a big chunk of value (in your case time) has been sunk, and you weren't able to recover.

Time is a valid resource, and powerful resource, the invisible queen.
„The fact that a player is very short of time is, to my mind, as little to be considered as an excuse as, for instance, the statement of the law-breaker that he was drunk at the moment he committed the crime.“ — Alexander Alekhine
